It's time to rebuild our congress and senate with members that have courage to stand up for the American people. We elect members of the Senate and the Congress to proudly and courageously represent us, carry our message and vote in our name, even if it means standing against all others. Instead they are concerned with funding their re-election, and serving corporations, big business, bankers and the wealthy.
We asked for change, however, it is apparent that politicans are deaf to our words and blind to our actions. They believe they can loosely cast about words of change without accountability for walking the talk. After 8 years of hell and 8 years of pandering prior to that, we prayed for the day when justice would prevail. It has been nearly a year, the moment has come and gone; it is apparent that there will be little in the way of change and more of the same. The good old boys, with selfish hearts and minds, are still in control.
But a new decade is dawning. It is a time for accountability, a return to pride, honor and integrity. From president to dog catcher, citizens must require that elected officials stand by their word or be held accountable by law for making promises they cannot keep. We can no longer accept disappointment.
It is time to aspire to regain our place in the world. Together we must take back our nation, create jobs, sources of income and replace corporations. We can no longer allow opinions of others to rule our minds, lifestyle. We are living, breathing and thinking indiividuals that can make good decisions if provided with the fact only; free from manipulation by others with an intended outcome. To begin the change don't accept or participate in slander of one's character as a source of entertainment. Allow truth and honesty to become the norm; frown upon lying, cheating, breaking promises, stealing money or invading ones privacy. You will find that many people will join feel relief as we step out of the ditch of shadow and doubt.
Most citizens of these united states follow the law, pay taxes, support our local, state and national government. We are anxious to regain our pride and faith in our nation. United we can restore our nation and regain our pride.

I'm back!
After intentionally chosing to distance myself from political races and organized groups, I'm finding it difficult to stay silent any longer. The Obama for Change movement won the election but it is failing to fulfill its pledge.
