Each day that the Bush administration is allowed to violate our nation we all loose and as we see in the waning days of his eight years the world has suffered. This administration came into office expecting to Rule this nation rather than SERVE the people that elected them.  Laws have been broken, a war was ignited needlessly creating thousands of deaths, many more thousands disabled. Our nation has fed fear propaganda, citizen’s rights have been eroded, the national debt  has sky-rocketed, and now cities, counties and states are are on the edge of bankruptcy. The total effect has not yet been felt and yet Congress stands by and allows this travety to take place.  The only way to build the power of our nation and take it back is to take steps toward impeachment and enforcement of the constitution.  

No one is above the law. The fear or lack of action by Congress to hold Mr. Bush and his administration accountable for deceiving and leading the United States into an unnecessary war is, in itself, reason enough for an  investigation of possible high crimes and misdemeanors.

Members of Congress and the Senate took an oath to uphold the Constitution. Article 2, Section 4: The President, Vice President and all Civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors

Join me now, it is time to uphold the Constitution; to take the steps set forth for us by the Founders.

Sandy Cook, 33^rd Assembly District Executive Board Member of the California Democratic Party
and San Luis Obispo Democratic Central Committee member, will make a motion to remove or censure Sandra Marshall, local activist, publisher of Information Press, Central Committee member and congressional candidate,  from the San Luis Obispo Democratic Central Committee because she ran in the primary election in which there was an endorsed candidate. Marshall chose to throw her cap in as a write in candidate for the 23^rd Congressional District on the June 3, primary election in support of the state-wide slate for Impeachment.  Although she did not expect to win, her goal was to offer voters an opportunity to have a recorded vote on the issue.
